BLACK WOMEN FOR WELLNESS PROGRAMS



Black Women for Wellness is committed to promoting and advancing education and knowledge as it relates to the health and well-being of Black Women.   Black Women for Wellness offers an array of programs that are held sometimes periodically, monthly or annually towards this end.

We offer these programs to you via the support of our dedicated members, supporters, volunteers, donators and through the efforts of our grant writers, via grant awards.

Black Women for Wellness Awarded Grant: Liberty Hill Foundation



Black Women for Wellness has been awarded a grant by the Opens external link in new windowLiberty Hill Foundation for organizing and building advocacy.  Black Women for Welness' program Opens internal link in current windowSisters @ Eight  is our advocacy program for outreach in the Los Angeles community.

California Consumer Protection Foundation Awards Grant to BWW!



This grant award allows Black Women for Wellness to continue to strengthen its infrastructure and to increase technology advocacy through program services amongst African American women-run community-based organizations which includes the establishment of an Internet café and an offering of technology-based workshops. Grant Win for Black Women for Wellness



BWW was recently awarded a mini grant from Region IX Office of Women's Health to conduct a Opens external link in new windowBodyWorks training in our office.  This grant award allow Black Women for Wellness to train grassroots leadership at local community-based organizations that work with families.
